VECTA 0.28 — pull requests from tasks, automations and notifications

A few changes that make it easier to leave VECTA working while you do something else:

  • Open a pull request from a finished task. Connect GitHub once by pasting a token on the Skills screen. VECTA pushes the task's branch with the Git sign-in already on your computer, opens the pull request and shows its checks beside it.
  • Automations run on a schedule. Every day, on weekdays, on chosen days or every few hours, in your time zone. Before you save one, VECTA shows exactly what will run, on which computer and when.
  • Know when a task is waiting for you. The desktop app shows a system notification, and VECTA emails you when a task you started has waited 10 minutes without you opening it. Choose what you get in Settings → Notifications.
  • See the tests that really ran. Recorded checks now list the test commands an agent actually ran, with their real result.
  • VECTA Cloud on Windows. When Cloud needs its one-time setup on your computer, the new-task screen says so and offers Fix it.

The Windows installer and Linux apps update themselves.
